看怎么将e398软体刷成ROKR E1

最近出现的E790,i398等等的问题似乎让一些人迷糊了！这个问题从一开始我就一直在国外坛子里密切关注了，所以我觉得有必要给大家说明一下。


首先,E790是坊间传言的Motorola即将发布的一款手机，其中最亮眼的当属它内嵌的iTunes播放器，可以实现手机和电脑上的iTunes的同步，类似于将手机当成ipod shuffle用。另外，该手机还具备了摄像功能。
当然最令我们激动地是E790和我们的E398使用的同样的硬件平台，似乎外观上也类似，只是多了一个ｉＴｕｎｅｓ的按钮。两款手机只是在软件上的一个升级，所以这就使得原来的ｅ３９８升级成ｅ７９０成为了可能！
当然，因为ｅ７９０还没有发布，但是关于这两款手机的讨论已经甚嚣尘上了！前几天，Ｅ７９０的固件泄漏到网上，然后就有了大虾开始探索如何实现e398到e790的升级。
关于泄漏出来的固件，可以到http://www.sity.ru/E790/ 下载(更新: 改网站已经设置密码,现在无法下载!)，另外指出，泄漏出来的固件已经有了新的版本，一开始的是13i,现在的是14i.
现在已经有了可以成功升级的步骤，但是由于步骤过于复杂，另外固件本身还存在很多的问题，所以尽管有很多人已经成功升级，但是也有为数不少的人在升级的过程中导致手机瘫痪，所以不建议大家急着升级。
当然，现在需要说一下圈内赫赫有名的eyesonly_d大虾了,著名的V398 monster pack就出自他的手，他的网站是www.motov398.tk. 当这个固件一开始出现的时候，这位大虾正在出差，直到两天之后另一位大虾给他打电话，告诉了他在howardforums里面有了这个消息，让他必须尽快看看：http://www.howardforums.com/show ... mp;page=1&pp=15 。
于是他就用电话线上网看了这个帖子，之后也根据现有步骤成功升级，并且开始了新的monster pack的制作，并且正式的将这个pack命名为i398.
至于这个包的进度，这是eyesonyl_d大哥的话，我就不翻译了，自己讲究着看。

I’ve been looking at the iTunes app. Lots of classes with names like “idleClock” etc. Perhaps this is meant to be the replacement for the normal idle screen. Can anybody enable the Java Standby App option seem, then set it to iTunes, then see if it does anything special?

FYI, the packaging of the i398 is pretty much solid as far as documentation is concerned. All that is left is the actual monster pack working as it should. Here is my planned “roadmap” of milestones for those interested and for everybody else to know what to expect.

i398_preX series -＞ Unreleased to the public, meant of proof-of-concept builds for Eyesonly_d.

*pre1 -＞ Successfully upgrades existing R373 based phones. Causes R372 phones to crash.
pre2 -＞ Flashes to both R373 and R372 phones. Based on Eyes’s personal backup.
pre3 -＞ Based on a generic backup with seem edits for enabling extra phone features. Late stage test ground for critical bugs that would prevent a public testing release. (This statement may also make the case for a pre4 for additional testing if required)

i398_testX series -＞ Released to the public, meant for wider spread bug reporting, improvement, enthusiasm building. These are WIP releases to aid in community involvement and speed up stabilization. Must still pass general tests by me to prevent something being released that killed phones.

test1 -＞ Would contains all current bugs of todays firmware release.
test2+ -＞ Fixes bugs, improves firmware version, includes multimedia contributions from the community.

i398_releaseX series -＞ Released to the public. Meant for wide spread adoption. Should be as stable as can be. Generic configuration for a wide audience.

release1 -＞ After a few test series releases, should be as streamlined as possible.
release2+ -＞ These will include better firmware versions as they become availible and fix the major shortcommings in the previous release. Higher release version will attempt to acheive the stability, feature-set, and simplicity that V398 has.

另外，一个让国内玩家关注的问题莫过于语言包的问题，一开始在帖子里面eyesonyl_d大哥似乎说这个新的固件和e398里面的language pack的位置和长度似乎没有变化，所以原来用于95R_A的语言包似乎应该没有问题，但是他自己没有尝试，因为现在的关键是先把monster pack做出来。
